Shepard's Pie

This week my brother Ian taught us how to make Burek which is a dish he had regularly while studying abroad in Vienna. It's simple to make and a warm hearty dish.

Ingredients

1 Package of Filo Dough

1 Cup of Chopped Parsley

6 Eggs

1 1/2 Cups of Ground Beef

Olive Oil

1 Onion chopped

1 1/2 cups of soda water

Salt

Pepper

Greek Yogurt

Instructions

1. Chop the onion and parsley.

2. Sauté the beef, onion, and parsley. season with salt and pepper to taste

3. Separate a sheet of Filo dough and coat with oil. Then place a second sheet on top and coat with olive oil.

4. Add the meat to one side and roll into a log.

5. Continue to make the logs and put them in a pan. Then beat the eggs and combine with the soda water and pour over the burek. Then bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

6. Serve with greek yogurt and enjoy.
